On the weekend of 10th August Keith O'Leary, Ben Hall and Dave Cornthwaite will
set off from Reading, skate to Goodwood, complete the Goodwood Roller Marathon
(gunning for the sub 2 hour mark!) and then skate back to Reading, completing
the 175miles in just a couple of days, all in aid of the NSPCC.

Keith is a 35 year old married father of two from Reading and has been skateboarding for 21 years.
He thought it would be ‘a bit of a giggle’ to support the NSPCC by leaving his car at home and skating to the Goodwood Roller Marathon.
He enjoys travelling long distances and promoting all forms of sustainable transport.
When not teaching his kids how to longboard, Keith is a Trade Compliance geek for a computer networking company.
20 years-old, Ben is originally from Oxfordshire and is currently studying at the University of Glamorgan, South Wales . He’s been longboarding for three and a half years and through events like BoardFree Goodwood he hopes to raise recognition of long distance skateboarding for other skaters and the general public. That he can get fit while doing something he loves is just a bonus. Ben skated the Goodwood Roller Marathon in 2007 taking 2 hours and 5 minutes to cover the distance, this year he wants to take 15 minutes off his time.
Dave is 28, single, lives in London, and is very aware this sounds like a dating advert. In 2007 he broke the Guinness World Record for the longest distance skated courtesy of a cross Australia push from Perth to Brisbane, and he's also the only person to have skated the length of Britain. Dave keeps himself busy by running BoardFree, giving motivational talks and writing books about strange projects.
