BoardFree 24: Pushing for Lowe Syndrome
Saturday 14th June/ Sunday 15th June
Riding at the same time as a team from pavedwave.org in the USA as part of a worldwide Ultraskate three riders pushed off in Dulwich Park, London at 8.25am on Saturday June 14th 2008. Only one remained 24 hours later, Keith O'Leary amassing a machine-like 150 miles, an amazing effort. The other riders fell short with injury; Ben Stiff stopped after 53 miles ensuring blisters didn't corrupt his upcoming length-of-Britain skate, and Dave Cornthwaite pulled up with a silly achiles tendon after 50 miles.
