The assumption has to be made that at some point, as Dave casually rolls along a road on a longboard, that a young and belligerent skater kid will approach him with a tradtional skateboard and say, "go on then Mr I'm-Going-To-Skate-5000-Miles, do an ollie and skate that halfpipe til' it bleeds."
There's a problem here. Dave can't skateboard. Never has. Until now. We've all seen the Faking It series, which takes Joe Bloggs the carpenter and turns him into Joseph Bloggs, the orchestra conductor, or Josephine Bloggs, the professional Drag Queen. The concept is simple, Faking It: BoardFree involves Dave learning to skateboard, fast. This is the challenge, by February 2006 he has to reach a standard of skateboarding that will see him sharing a half pipe with professional skaters without any bystander blinking an eyelid.
See Part 1 and feel free to doubt. This is going to be difficult.
